From it's inception this event has held special meaning. Created to help expand upon the legacy of legendary Texas rapper, Chad "Pimp C" Butler. CCM along with UGQ, founded by Chinara Butler, Pimp C's widow, have in essence brought the legend to new and exciting level. This unique event covers HIV/STD awareness issues and testing along with various disorders such as sleep apnea, which contributed to Chad's untimely passing. With the inaugural event held in Chad Butler's home town of Port Arthur and moved the next year to Houston Texas to capitalize on much greater community involvement. Continually evolving, this event now helps to inspire artists through an official art contest. The Chad "Pimp C" Butler Health & Wellness Festival brings an incredible amount of awareness to our cause and continually attracts a great deal of national attention.
