Well Woman Extravaganza 2009

The inaugural Well Woman Extravaganza was a unique intervention where women that attended got information on health issues that affect women, 37 attendees ranging in age from 19-24 received the HPV vaccine first series, 25 attendees received HIV/STD testing, and all in attendance heard valuable information on health issues during a panel discussion of medical providers from the Houston area. A concert by local performers and incentives from Universal Records, U.S. Census 2010, Interscope Records, and Swisha House Records completed this fun, informative community  event.
