Middle and high school students from HISD have participated since 2015. CCM's "Art on the Streets" contest enlists HISD middle high school students to submit artwork based on a particular theme. Currently, the theme is "World AIDS Day." Through 2022, more than 3000 individual students have submitted artwork and won more than $30,000 in scholarships, cash & prizes.
